This event is to honour one of Banger Racing's all time greats. A favourite of many race fans, Roy is also well respected and regarded as a legend by many drivers from all over the country and Europe. Since starting racing in 1986, after being introduced to the sport by Suicide Squad Captain Chris Whiteman, Roy has had a great career on and off the track. He is still racing now aged 67! He has raced in many formulas over the years with great success, including National Bangers, PRI bangers, National Hot Rods, Group A/Stock Rods, 1300 stock cars and Outlaw Hot Rods. We will be having some of these formulas on show over the weekend.
All money raised on the day will be donated to the Meningitis Research Foundation as Roy's chosen charity.
